Flagstone Walkway

The brilliance in a flagstone walkway is in how each stone plays off of one another.

Working with Flagstone takes a lot of precision and creativity; it’s different from standard pavers because they are different shapes and sizes.  It’s like a giant puzzle. We start by setting the flagstone out so that we can see every piece.  That way we can determine which one goes where in the walkway.  It’s a little more time consuming than standard pavers, but the finished product is well worth the time.

In this walkway, we used metal edging to line the walkway, natural flagstone, and crushed stone for the base.
